Question: I've noticed you have a lot of interestingly-designed headboards. Are these custom-made or are there vendors out there that make them this pretty?
Phoebe's Answer: I prefer fairly simple shapes for upholstered headboards. I usually do not like tricky or complicated shapes. A typical headboard height is around 55 to 60", and we always make either upholstered rails or custom dust ruffles to go with them. A typical height for the top of the mattress is around 28" high. It is important to work out the dimensions of the mattress and box spring before you make the bed, since there many different mattress and box spring dimensions.
