How do you select a style of chandelier for a dining room? I know you talked
about how to hang it, but I am not sure even sure about size!

Answer: Since
chandeliers vary so much in style and materials, there are so many options out
there. What is important is to choose a style that is complimentary to the room
and the rest of the furnishings. The most critical thing is to get the size
right, both for the relation to the table, but also it's position in the room.
A general rule of thumb is to choose a chandelier that is should be about one half to two thirds the width of the table
it will be hanging over. Another is that it should be about a foot less than
the width of the table at its widest point. Generally speaking, we usually hang
a chandelier about 66 to 69" from the floor to the lowest point of the
fixture.
