This week, we are beginning a new house. In the foyer, we had room for a center table and chose this great black one from Beeline Home. We paired it with chinese chairs and simple photography from the client's collection to make it a warm entry with a little graphic punch.
We carried the theme of soft neutrals with black accents into the adjoining living room. We had the great privilege of using photography from the client's brother, the very talented Michael Dweck. I have long been a fan of his, and we were thrilled to use several of his pieces in this house. The client is a talented musician and had a beautiful piano that we placed in the window. We kept the colors light, in the range of pale grey to ivory. We flanked the large fireplace with a pair of black cabinets and a pair of wing chairs. The client is also a talented violinist, so he asked for flexible seating so that he and his children could play together. How great it is to have talented creative clients!
