Question: My husband wants a recliner. How can I talk him out of it? I just don't love the way they look.
Phoebe's Answer: My own basic theory is that as long as men can put their feet up in a chair that they think is really comfortable and is suited for them, they are happy. It is important to let them sit in the chair and make sure it fits their body and their comfort requirements. Swivels and rocker/glider/swivels can add another layer of comfort and all of these things can still be had with a good looking chair and ottoman.
