Before and After of the Week

This is a project that Phoebe and Alex Gebicke worked on in Miami. The client had done a very nice and extensive renovation but was just out of gas when it came to the decorating. Phoebe and Alex helped her with most of the rooms in the house, and we'll start with the living room.

The client had purchased two settees in silk velvet for the living room and realized she was moving in the wrong direction. The room has wonderful natural light and soaring ceilings. Our goal was to set a mood of casual elegance - stylish, but comfortable. We decided to go with a color scheme of sage green and ivory, and keep it light and airy. We used green sheer linen on the windows, large comfortable upholstery, and spare accessories. Check it out:
